**The initial response to the ‘return’ of VB events in Spain shouldn’t have been a surprise, really. Within days, the main hotel practically SOLD OUT.
Never fear, there are many, many options of affordable nearby events to choose from.
As we move into 2027, we’ll start looking at a concrete itinerary for the 4 (or 5) days so you can make a decision on joining us, sooner rather than later.

For 2027, we’re taking the VB Family to Ibiza for something a little different.
The Ibiza Gathering will see Vocal Booth Radio join forces with the established Iconic Ibiza Weekender for our first collaborative event of this kind.
Believe it or not, this will actually be the fourth time we’ve been to Ibiza as the VB Family, in some form or another!
This isn’t another Vocal Booth Weekender as you’ve known it. It’s an opportunity to bring our community together on one of the world’s most famous musical islands, alongside like-minded people who share our love of quality music and good company.
And, as always, the VB Family will be at the heart of it.
WHY IBIZA?
For many of the VB Family, Ibiza holds a lifetime of special memories. For others, it’s somewhere they’ve always wanted to experience but haven’t quite made it to yet.
Well, here’s your chance.
Forget the misconceptions about what Ibiza is or isn’t nowadays. There’s so much more to this beautiful island than the headlines and social media might suggest.
And what better way to experience it than surrounded by friends and Family?
Good people. Great music. Beautiful surroundings. Affordable prices.
That’s what we’re aiming for.
OUR HOME FOR THE GATHERING
Our hosts, Iconic Ibiza Weekender, will be celebrating their third event in 2027 at the fantastic Palm Star Hotel in San Antonio Bay.
The Palm Star is already a well-established home for music events, including the hugely popular Groove Odyssey Ibiza gatherings.
With just 51 rooms, it offers exactly the sort of intimate environment we love.
A place where familiar faces become new friendships, where the music flows throughout the day, and where you’re never far away from someone you know.
WHAT’S HAPPENING?
We’ve got some fantastic venues and experiences lined up across the weekend.
PALM STAR POOL PARTIES
Daytime sessions around the pool, with soulful sounds, familiar faces and that unmistakable Ibiza sunshine.
O BEACH IBIZA
An all-day party at one of the island’s best-known venues. Enjoy the music and atmosphere, with everything from standard admission to the full VIP experience available.
CAFÉ DEL MAR
An evening at the legendary Café del Mar. One of Ibiza’s most iconic locations and a wonderful setting to enjoy music with friends.
ITACA AFTER PARTY
For those who want to keep the music going, we’ll also be heading to Itaca for an after party.
LATE NIGHTS AT PALM STAR
There’s also the opportunity to make use of the hotel’s own club facilities for additional parties.
And potentially more! Depending on numbers and interest, we may also arrange optional boat parties, excursions and other activities.
Our intention is simple: provide quality music throughout the daytime and into the evening, while leaving everyone free to enjoy Ibiza however they wish.
If you want to carry on partying until sunrise, Ibiza certainly won’t disappoint. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, that’s absolutely fine too. There’s room for everyone.
A GATHERING SHAPED BY THE FAMILY
Here’s where this event becomes particularly interesting. Our involvement will be dynamic.
By teaming up with Iconic Ibiza Weekender, we’re joining an existing event with an established format, but the level of support from the VB Family will help determine just how much of our own identity we can bring to the weekend.
The more of us who attend, the greater our influence over DJ appearances, set times, locations and additional activities.
This is very much a community event. All DJs will be supporting one another, enjoying the music together and helping to build something that could become a regular fixture in the Vocal Booth calendar.
It’s our first collaboration of this kind, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how many of the VB Family will be part of it from the beginning.
ACCOMMODATION & PRICES
PALM STAR HOTEL — MINIMUM 4-NIGHT STAY
We’ve secured access to some very attractive room rates, with payments conveniently split across four instalments.
The minimum stay is Friday 1st to Tuesday 5th October (four nights). If you’d prefer to arrive on Thursday 30th September, an additional night can be requested when booking, at an extra charge.
All accommodation is room-only and includes entry to the exclusive parties taking place at Palm Star.
All prices are PER ROOM, not per person.
Whether you’re staying alone or sharing with friends, the total room price remains the same. Per-person figures illustrate the cost when sharing at maximum occupancy.

Per-person prices assume maximum occupancy and are based on the full four-night stay.
PAY IN FOUR INSTALMENTS
You don’t need to pay for your entire stay upfront. Secure your room with an initial payment of approximately 25% of the total cost, rounded to whole pounds. The remaining balance is then spread across three further payments.
ROOMS ARE STRICTLY LIMITED.
The Palm Star has just 51 rooms in total, shared with guests attending the wider Iconic Ibiza Weekender. The sooner the VB Family commits, the more opportunity we have to shape our involvement.
DO I HAVE TO STAY AT PALM STAR?
Absolutely not!
You’re more than welcome to arrange your own accommodation elsewhere on the island.
However, we genuinely believe the Palm Star offers excellent value, particularly when you consider that entry to all the hotel’s exclusive parties is included in your room price.
If you choose to stay elsewhere, there will be a separate ticket charge for the Palm Star pool parties and late-night events. And, of course, staying at the hotel means you’ll be right in the heart of the action.
WHAT ABOUT EVENT TICKETS?
We’ve worked hard to make this as affordable and flexible as possible.
There is no compulsory upfront weekend event ticket to purchase.
Here’s how the individual events work:
O BEACH IBIZA — SUNDAY
Entry is £25 or £35, depending on your arrival time. There are also numerous options for sunbeds, loungers and VIP areas, subject to minimum spends. You’ll book directly with O Beach, so the experience can be as affordable or as luxurious as you choose.
ITACA AFTER PARTY — FREE
CAFÉ DEL MAR PARTY — FREE
PALM STAR POOL PARTIES — FREE FOR HOTEL GUESTS
Non-resident ticket prices to be confirmed.
PALM STAR LATE-NIGHT PARTIES — FREE FOR HOTEL GUESTS

We intend to keep any additional event charges sensible and accessible.
WHO’S PLAYING?
The wider event brings together DJs from Kinky Malinki, Konnected, Apricus and Vocal Booth Radio.
If you’ve attended any Vocal Booth event before, you’ll know exactly the standard of music we aim to deliver.
Expect quality soulful House music alongside appropriate poolside sounds, great DJs, live radio broadcasts and plenty of those moments that remind us why we do all this in the first place.
A NOTE FOR OUR DJs
I need to be completely upfront about something.
For this first collaboration, there are absolutely no guarantees of DJ sets, and availability will be extremely limited.
Our priority is to establish Vocal Booth Radio as a valued part of this collaboration, demonstrate the strength of our community and build something we can develop in future years.
DJs staying at Palm Star will naturally have the greatest visibility when we’re considering opportunities to play at the hotel, with a handful of additional sets potentially available at the other parties.
But please, don’t book this event on the expectation of getting a DJ set.
Come because you want to be part of the Gathering, enjoy the music and support the Family. Everything else is a bonus.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
It’s really quite simple. If you fancy joining us, now’s the time to commit.
Secure your accommodation at Palm Star while rooms are available and start looking at your flights.
We’re recommending arrival on Thursday 30th September, giving everyone time to settle in before the main event begins on Friday. Remember, Thursday is an optional extra night and can be requested when booking.
And if enough of us arrive on Thursday, you know what that means…
A PROPER VB FAMILY WELCOME PARTY!
We’ll arrange something at the hotel to get everyone together and start the weekend as we mean to go on.
ONE LAST THING…
I want to stress that this is our first experience working alongside another established event.
We’re not promising to recreate the Vocal Booth Weekenders of the past, nor are we pretending that every last detail has already been decided.
What I can promise is that we’ll approach this with exactly the same care, enthusiasm and attention to detail you’ve come to expect from anything carrying the Vocal Booth name.
The more support we receive, the more we can bring to the table. And who knows where this collaboration might take us in the years ahead?
