From a teenage pirate radio host to a globally recognised house name, DJ Tipz has carved out an impressive career fuelled by his lifelong passion for DJing and production.
After teaching himself the craft at just 14 years old, Tipz quickly rose through the ranks, landing radio shows on prestigious internet stations SSRadio & Handz on Radio, gaining a devoted international following. His breakout “I’ll House You” mixtapes in 2007 showcased his dynamic style, leading to gigs in South Africa, Amsterdam and the UK, supporting legends like Atjazz & Osunlade. In early October 2011, he released his first remix production for Mist Works – Common Question? Which reached number 3 in the Traxsource House Chart before releasing his first solo single in 2013 with “Lifetime”.
Fast forward to 2025 Tipz continues to cement his reputation as a force in the music scene with his monthly show Fundamental Frequencies on Vocal Booth Radio.
