“Campfire” ( Trails, Tales & Tunes) is a 2-hour radio show designed to take listeners on an eclectic musical journey, hosted by the versatile musician and DJ, Mike Wilson, known as 100 POEMS. The show will span all genres of music, encouraging exploration and discovery, and could air on the last Thursday of each month.
Each “Campfire” gathering will feature five distinct segments:
- Music Past: Delving into foundational tracks, forgotten gems, and influential sounds that have shaped musical landscapes.
- Music Present: Showcasing current releases and contemporary tracks that are making waves across the globe.
- Music Future: Exploring new releases, demos, upcoming happenings, emerging artists.

Each month, Mike Wilson will invite a prominent figure from the music industry, be it a fellow DJ, producer, label owner, or artist; to share their personal journey, insights, and musical inspirations in a recorded interview.

100 POEMS is the musical world of Dublin-born musician, producer and DJ Mike Wilson; a genre-blurring project where Balearic calm meets cosmic country, dub blues, psych wanderings and late-night electronic storytelling.
Inspired as much by the poetry of Seamus Heaney as by the groove-driven records he grew up with, Wilson chose the name 100 POEMS as a nod to the same creative spirit: honest expression, emotional clarity and the courage to “walk on air against your better judgement.”
A lifelong musician; raised in a house where trad, dance and rhythm were part of the furniture, Wilson has shaped 100 POEMS into a deeply personal, DIY-driven project. Across a run of albums, singles and remixes, his sound has topped Bandcamp’s Balearic and Country-Alt charts, and twice earned Bandcamp’s Best Electronic Music editor’s picks. Each release is built from a love of melody, warm production, and a wide-open sense of possibility.
Recent albums such as Everything’s Balearic When You Believe, Everything’s Possible When You Balearic, Let The Horse Run Free and his latest release Rodeo Disco, expand the universe even further, weaving acoustic instruments, dusty drum machines, harmonicas, banjos and sundown atmospheres into something unmistakably his own. Wilson’s work also carries a strong community pulse: he collaborates widely, supports mental health charities through pay-what-you-can releases, and contributes to collective projects raising funds for music education.
For Mike Wilson, 100 POEMS is more than a moniker; it’s an ongoing invitation to explore, experiment and feel something real. Every track is a postcard from a place where genres blur.
